Chair yoga is a very interesting form of yoga in which moderate variation of hatha yoga is performed in a sitting position on a chair. It is designed for students who are unable to participate in a regular yoga class because of certain reasons and thus comprise variations for standard hatha yoga poses.
The unique body type of every person makes it occasionally difficult for them to perform some specific yoga postures. To practice yoga properly, we must use several yoga props; chairs are one of them. Chair yoga can be just as tough as yoga on a mat, but there are times when it can be quite beneficial to execute challenging postures with ease. Not only it eases yoga for beginners, chair yoga offers a variety of poses that keep classes interesting for experienced practitioners as well. Additionally, a few seated yoga postures can improve circulation, strength and mental clarity.
