Breeze Airways announced on April 12, 2023 that it would be suspending its transcontinental service between Westchester County Airport (HPN) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on May 1, 2023. The airline cited capacity issues at HPN and the long flight time as reasons for the decision.Breeze began flying between HPN and LAX in October 2022, offering one-stop service on Embraer 190 aircraft. The route was the airline’s first transcontinental flight.
