Avelo Airlines add Oregon flights to Sonoma County airport

Avelo Airlines, a low-cost carrier, announced on Wednesday that it will add nonstop flights to central Oregon from Sonoma County Airport starting June 23. The new route will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, on a Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. Introductory one-way fares will start at $34. The new service will connect Sonoma County with Bend/Redmond Municipal Airport, which serves the Bend/Redmond market. Sonoma County is a popular tourist destination.
