National Science Day Status Video Download – Indian physicist Sir C.V. Raman discovered his famous Raman effect on 28th February 1930. He was also awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for his discovery. The National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC) sent a request to the Government of India to commemorate the day as National Science Day.
