When your hp officejet 3830 sleep mode printer is on sleep mode, it reduces the power consumption. By default, the printer will go to the sleep mode after remaining inactive for 5 minutes. Users can also change the time to Sleep mode from the printer’s Control Panel. Click on the Setup icon from the hp 3830 printer’s home screen. Select Preferences and click on Sleep Mode from the options available. The time to go on Sleep Mode can be selected from the following options: After 5 minutes, After 10 minutes or After 15 minutes.
