Canceling an Allegiant flight without paying a penalty depends largely on the timing and the type of ticket purchased. Allegiant’s 24-hour risk-free cancellation policy allows passengers to cancel a flight within 24 hours of booking, provided the flight is at least seven days away. In this case, you won’t face any penalties.
For cancellations made after the 24-hour window, Allegiant typically imposes a fee unless you’ve purchased their Trip Flex option. Trip Flex lets you cancel or change your flight up to 72 hours before departure without a penalty. If you did not opt for Trip Flex, a cancellation fee will be deducted from your fare, and any remaining balance will be credited to your Allegiant account for future travel.
