Passengers can select seats via the seat map during booking or afterward through the manage booking page. Seat requests can also be made through customer service. Passengers may choose to upgrade to an Extra Legroom Seat for an additional fee. Japan airlines seat selection Airlines allows passengers travelling on eligible fares to select seats during the booking process or afterward through the managed booking page. Seat selection is available to passengers travelling on JAL First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy Class, or Economy Class with normal or discount fares. Passengers using award tickets may also select seats. However, seat selection may not be available for some fares for groups travelling together.
