Mikel Arteta signs contract extension with Arsenal

Mikel Arteta has put pen-to-paper on a contract extension at Arsenal. The new deal will keep Arteta at the Emirates until 2027. The confirmation comes as a huge boost to the north London club who had seen their coach enter the last year of his current deal. The 42-year-old though, has committed himself to the Gunners and will now stay for a further three seasons.
