Nail polish has a long and fascinating history that dates back to ancient times. The earliest evidence of nail polish use was found in China, where archaeologists discovered a tomb containing the remains of a woman with her nails painted red. This suggests that nail polish was used in China as early as 3000 BC. In ancient Egypt, nail polish was also used as a status symbol. The color of a person’s nails was often used to indicate their social class. For example, only the pharaoh and his family were allowed to wear red nail polish.
