Odia Book Prapteshu Pruthibi Written By Pratibha Ray .Pratibha Ray, an academic from India who also writes novels and short stories in the Odia tongue, was born on January 21, 1944. Ray was honoured with the Jnanpith Award in 2011 for her service to Indian literature. In 2022, she received the Padma Bhushan.
She was born on January 21, 1943, in the isolated village of Alabol, which is now a portion of Jagatsinghpur district in the state of Odisha but was formerly a part of Cuttack district. In 1991, she became the first female recipient of the Moortidevi Award. A top seller, Barsha Basanta Baishakha, was her debut book.
