As a trekker who has had the privilege of standing at the foot of Mount Everest, I have always been fascinated by the stories of adventure and bravery that this mighty mountain inspires. From documentary films to feature movies, there are so many incredible stories about Everest that i have loved watching over the years. One of my all-time favorites is Everest (2015), a heart-stopping drama that captures the essence of the 1996 Everest disaster. I was on the edge of my seat as I watched the characters navigate the treacherous terrain and face unimaginable challenges. Another movie that resonated with me is K2 (1993), a documentary that tells the story of a climbing expedition to the second-highest mountain in the world. The film is a gripping and emotional journey that takes you on a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs, just like the actual climb.
