It is believed that this temple was founded by the poet Tulsidas. Saint Tulsidas was suffering from unbearable pain in his hand in the last days of his life. Then in this temple, he composed “Hanuman Bahuk” by meditating on the crisis-relieving form of Hanuman ji.
