Skoda is testing a new function in its Traffication infotainment software. The most recent version of the programme, which is presently being tested in a pilot project in the Czech Republic, now sends alerts of approaching trains, reducing the possibility of level crossing catastrophes. This function works in conjunction with other Traffication app features, such as warning the user about wrong-way driving and the risk of unintentionally entering a motorway against the flow of traffic, to further boost road safety.
