What Are Facade Panel Composites

Composite panels for facades consist of two outer skins and a middle core, which is why they are so called. The three components of the panel work together as a composite. The strengths of the components combine in a facade panel composite to achieve superior performance than the materials alone (core and panel skins). The core is generally of low density and has a cover sheet attached to each side. The core provides structural support, general impact resistance, and insulation under certain circumstances depending on the core material used.
