Sankatahara Chaturthi or Sankashti Chaturthi is a day dedicated to Lord Ganesha in every lunar month of the Hindu calendar. According to it, it falls on the fourth day of the dark lunar phase of the Krishna Paksha (known as Sakat Chauth in the month of Megha).
